NAGUAL
The NAGUAL Blog is for those who are inspired by the works of Carlos Castaneda. It is primarily focused on Nagualism, Sorcery, Inorganic Beings, Djinn, Lucid Dreaming and Shamanism. This site can be a very good reference for those who practice the techniques found in Castaneda's book, The Art of Dreaming.

Near Red Rock Canyon
Near Red Rock Canyon
The face of the mountain near Red Rock Canyon look like they'd be easy to climb up, from a distance, but when you get up close you see that it's impossible without a rope.

Nagual Dreaming
http://nagual.yuku.com/topic/707?page=-1
Here is a bit of a recap of some of the things I've been writing about recently. Even though lucid dreaming and interacting with inorganic beings within those dreams are actually a very simple thing to do, and clearly outlined in Castaneda's book, The Art of Dreaming, most people still need a little bit of help with entering into the world of Sorcery. Up until now, most advice beyond following Castaneda's directions was basically that you needed to find a Nagual or guru to give you a boost, but they are not always available. So, I have suggested an alternative kind of Sorcerer called a "Summoned Being." These are people who have an awareness within them that was drawn here from beyond this world, you could call them possessed I guess, but I think that "summoned" is more accurate as they don't come here on their own. There are far more people like this than there are Naguals and they have an abundance of inorganic energy at their disposal, energy which we can tap into by simply being near them.
Unfortunately, summoned beings are rarely outright leaders because, you have to remember, they are here because of somebody else's power. When a summoned being is a Nagual though, they can be great sources of energy to others, but, still, I don't know if I would really call them great leaders. Sorcerers and Naguals who are native to the Earth in both their physicality and energy, are much less alien to others, even though they are channeling inorganic energy like every other kind of Sorcerer. Native sorcerers tend to get stuck in a rut very easily though, and often benefit from the presence of summoned beings. I think everyone is looking for a balance to their energy, between excitement and quietude, and how you mix and match the influence of other sorcerers is really up to you to decide. Sometimes, under the heat of the sun, a bit of shadow is desirable.
